Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across our properties. You will diagnose defects, repair systems, and complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing. The role includes inventory control, safety compliance, and routine property inspections to keep buildings in top condition.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal and a valid driver’s license for cart operation. Onsite work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1/II or Universal).
• State/Local jurisdiction certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments, from pre-move-out to punch list and vendor coordination.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and track inventory; notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in grounds/amenities upkeep, including cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
