Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to uphold building and ground safety, cleanliness, and functionality across its properties. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-ready tasks for new move-ins with attention to policy and safety standards.

You’ll manage parts and tools, document work orders, assist in inspections, and help maintain common areas. The role requires flexibility for off-hours and occasional travel between properties, with robust benefits offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf carts on property where applicable.
• State and local certification requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects from resident service requests and perform repairs per policy.
• Complete make-ready work for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track inventory, access materials, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with cleaning and painting tasks as required.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
