Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-ready processes for vacant units.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, inventory, documentation, and safe operation of tools and equipment, with occasional travel between properties as needed. A strong focus on safety and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant safety and handling knowledge.
• Must hold EPA Type 1 & II or Universal certifications where applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policies, procedures, safety standards, and codes.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins by completing make-ready tasks and coordinating vendors.
• Tracks inventory and manages materials, tools, and equipment from maintenance department.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, cleans common areas, and performs painting or repairs as needed.
