Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. This role involves diagnosing issues, repairing, and completing make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, inventory tracking, and assisting with grounds maintenance while adhering to safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance per policy and code requirements.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling repairs.
• Maintains inventory, documents work, and notifies supervisor on re-orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects, perform repairs, and ensure safety standards.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move-ins per pre-move-out inspection.
• Record documentation for service requests and inventory usage.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep and cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
