Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician for The Hale in Washington, DC. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing building systems, completing make-ready tasks for vacants, and documenting work orders to keep the property safe and functional.

Required EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and ability to perform physical tasks in all weather. On-site position with competitive benefits and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• Valid state driver’s license is mandatory to operate equipment on site.
• Proven hands-on maintenance, repair, and preventive task execution.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment per safety codes.
• Complete make-ready tasks and inspections for vacant units and common areas.
• Track materials, order supplies, and document service requests for records.
• Assist in grounds upkeep, cleaning, painting, and general property maintenance.
• Attend safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
