Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property cleanliness, safety, and functionality in Arlington, VA. You will handle preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacant units, and assist in grounds upkeep while following safety policies.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Onsite and full-time with robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and code standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and coordinates with vendors.
• Maintains inventory, documents work, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor on reordering.
• Assists with grounds and common areas upkeep and adheres to safety policies.
• Participates in safety meetings and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
