Job summary

Greystar in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service property buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality.

You will diagnose defects, perform make-ready tasks, manage materials, document work orders, and support cost-saving practices while upholding safety standards and OSHA requirements. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on property.
• Commitment to safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems per standard procedures.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units and inspections.
• Track materials, tools and inventory, and notify when reordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; support cost-saving maintenance practices.
