Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and safety standards on-site in Washington, DC. The role focuses on completing work orders, make-ready tasks, inventory control, and documentation.

You’ll need EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) and a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on-site. The position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a large, global real estate

Qualifications

EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
Valid driver's license to operate on-site (golf cart where applicable).
Must comply with safety trainings and OSHA-related requirements.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance per policies and codes.
Puts vacant apartments into make-ready status including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
Manages materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor on re-ordering needs.
Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible and using tools properly.
