Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain physical aspects of properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and common areas. You will handle work orders, pre-move tasks for vacant homes, and assist with general repairs across the community.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local credentials, and a valid driver’s license for on-site work. Strong benefits accompany the role, including PTO, 401(k) and housing discounts.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities per policy and safety standards.
• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and coordinates with vendors for repairs.
• Maintains documentation for service requests and inventory usage.
• Keeps common areas clean and safe; assists with painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using tools properly.
