Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician in Washington to maintain the physical aspects of its properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. You will diagnose resident-requested issues, complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins, manage materials, and document work for accurate records.

This onsite role requires OSHA safety awareness and occasional travel to other Greystar sites.

Qualifications

• Essential maintenance skills and safety compliance.
• Ability to read and follow repair procedures and code requirements.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and amenities per policy and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and obtaining supplies.
• Track inventory and coordinate with maintenance supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to enable tracking and reporting.
• Perform general cleaning, painting, and upkeep of common areas as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local certifications

Driver’s license
