Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Service Technician to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and prepare units for new residents.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready tasks for vacant apartments, managing materials, documenting requests, and maintaining grounds. EPA certifications and a valid driver's license are required, with OSHA training as applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver's license required to operate a golf cart on property.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments preparing for leasing.
• Track inventory and access materials from maintenance department as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing when possible and using tools correctly.
