Job summary

Greystar in Tucson, AZ seeks a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair building systems, and complete work orders for resident requests.

You will assist in make-ready tasks, maintain grounds, and ensure safety and code compliance. The role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-site work with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform field maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Coordinate materials and tools, track inventory, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document work and service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
