Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building and amenity areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and support the make-ready process for vacants.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing building systems, documenting tasks, and assisting with grounds upkeep. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local licenses as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair property systems per policy, safety standards, and codes.
• Execute make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track materials, inventory, and re-order supplies with maintenance supervisor oversight.
• Complete service requests documentation promptly for accurate records.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
