Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 222 North City, San Marcos, CA. The role requires 1-2 years of property maintenance experience, strong customer service, and experience with appliance repairs, painting, and turnover tasks.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, doing make-readies, tracking materials, and assisting with grounds and general property upkeep. OSHA basics and safety awareness are expected in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• Good customer service and prior maintenance experience required.
• Appliance repairs, painting and turnover repairs required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments, pre-move-out inspections, punch lists and scheduling.
• Manage material inventory, request re-orders and document tasks for tracking.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep and general cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
