Job summary

Greystar is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to service and maintain the physical aspects of our properties. You will handle routine repairs, inspections, and make-ready tasks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and high standards of operation.

Ideal candidates have hands-on skills with tools, good communication, and a commitment to resident service. The role includes on-site responsibilities with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent communication skills: read, write and speak clearly.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word/Excel).
• Professional conduct and ability to work with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs promptly, including appliance work.
• Prepare apartments for move-ins through the make-ready process.
• Maintain exterior areas, common spaces, and landscaping as needed.
• Assist with vendor management and inventory control.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections of equipment and systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA requirements.
