Job summary

Greystar in San Francisco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property's buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will complete work orders, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, track inventory, document activities, assist with grounds upkeep, and support cost-saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• Valid driver’s license is required to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Make-ready tasks for vacant units: inspections, punch lists, scheduling, supplies, and inspections.
• Track inventory, manage materials, and notify supervisor to reorder.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for traceability.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, including cleaning, painting, and signage upkeep.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts when possible and proper tool usage.
