Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on residential properties. You will diagnose defects, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage parts and tools, and document all work for property operations.

Duties include keeping common areas clean and safe, while supporting cost-control efforts. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned service work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Finalizes "make-ready" tasks for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventory, returning unused items and coordinating re-orders.
• Documents work accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assists in maintenance of grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and cosmetic tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
