Job summary

Greystar is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional for our New York properties. This role involves completing resident work orders, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs to meet our standards for safety and functionality.

You will manage the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinate inspections, schedule vendors, and maintain documentation. Daily tasks also include inventory handling, grounds upkeep, and cost-saving repairs where possible.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests, diagnose defects, and perform repairs per safety codes.
• Perform make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access materials from maintenance department, track usage, and notify supervisor when reorders are needed.
• Document service requests timely and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash pickup, pressure washing, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist cost-control by repairing parts when possible to avoid replacements.
