Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and prepare units for new residents while coordinating with vendors and managing inventory.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready units, documenting tasks, and assisting with grounds upkeep. The role requires driving, safety compliance, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and code requirements.
• Prepares vacated units for leasing by performing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Obtains materials and coordinates vendors for repairs as needed.
• Documents service requests and work performed for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as required.
• Supports cost controls by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1/II/Universal refrigerant certification

Valid driver’s license
