Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across residential properties. You will diagnose and repair building systems, handle make-readies, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.You will manage work orders, track inventory, document service requests, and assist with grounds upkeep. The role includes on-call rotation, exposure to varied weather, and opportunities for growth within a large real estate platform.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventive maintenance by diagnosing the defect and repairing per policies and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing by inspecting, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to access materials from the property’s maintenance department, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies maintenance about re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to properly document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by trash pickup, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing instead of replacing parts and using tools properly.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification

Valid driver’s license
