Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to handle the physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

The role includes preparing vacant units for lease, coordinating vendors, maintaining inventory, and documenting all service activities. You will support cost-control efforts and work flexible hours across indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to certified service technicians).
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (applies to all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Executes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch list creation, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and informs maintenance about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to ensure service requests are tracked accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Education

EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications
