Job summary

Greystar Minneapolis is seeking a skilled Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, and amenities to Greystar standards. You will complete work orders, prepare vacancies, inspect safety, manage inventory, and assist in cost-saving practices while following policies.

Strong EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a CPO are required; occasional travel and flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles and golf carts where applicable.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and inspect completed work.
• Access materials and manage inventory, notifying on re-ordering as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Help maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
