Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building exteriors, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, repair systems, and complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining inventories, documenting work, and supporting cost-control efforts by repairing parts when possible.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• OSHA safety training or equivalent knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and code requirements.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and notify when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
