Job summary

wgalegacypropertymanagement is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to safeguard building infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance, and support make-readies for new move-ins. You will document work orders, manage supplies, and assist with grounds and common areas, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a proactive, safety-focused approach. On-site work and occasional on-call coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.
• Experience with maintenance and make-readies.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per safety standards and code requirements.
• Performs make-ready to prepare vacant units, creates punch list, manages vendor work and supplies.
• Tracks materials and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities; assists with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
