Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness and operation of property features. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance and make-ready duties for vacant units, while documenting tasks and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities include inventory control, light repairs, and contributing to cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• All required state and local certifications for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Executes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventory with the maintenance department and notifies leadership when re-orders are needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure accurate tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing components when feasible.
