Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a Service Technician to ensure the physical condition of buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and operation. The role involves performing repairs, completing work orders, and contributing to preventive maintenance across the property.

The position requires HVAC/maintenance skills, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to handle flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications are required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required are necessary.
• A valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy, safety standards, and code.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Tracks materials and returns unused items to the proper location, coordinating re-orders as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
