Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and function across buildings and amenities. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete make-readies for new residents, and support cost-control efforts.

Responsibilities include inventory management, documenting work orders, and assisting with grounds upkeep while adhering to safety policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Requires EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or universal).
• State/local certifications for service technicians required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on the property following safety standards and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisors for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
