Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of our properties. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and perform preventative maintenance to meet safety and cleanliness standards.

The role includes making-ready vacant units, managing inventory, and documenting work for accurate record-keeping. You’ll assist with groundskeeping and participate in cost-saving measures by repairing parts when possible, while adhering to safety policies and OSHA

Qualifications

• Experience performing property maintenance and preventative work.
• Ability to complete make-ready tasks for vacant units.
• Strong focus on safety, policy compliance, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and code.
• Finish the make-ready process for new leases including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory and return unused items to the proper location.
• Document service requests clearly to enable proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and perform cleaning as needed.
• Support cost control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
