Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to manage the physical upkeep of our properties. You will diagnose and repair building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and lead the make-ready process for new move-ins, ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role requires independent work and teamwork across vendors and on-site staff. Responsibilities include documenting work orders, managing inventory, and participating in safety trainings.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• HVAC certifications and licenses may be required.
• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, inspections, and scheduling as needed.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and coordinate with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Document work performed in a timely and accurate manner to keep requests tracked.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, amenities, and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible and using tools properly.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA and safety training.
• May inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Assist in routine property inspections to identify safety and maintenance needs.
