Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical integrity of buildings, grounds, and common areas in our communities. You will respond to resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and support make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and efficiency, with opportunities for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required or preferred per role.
• Valid driver’s license may be required to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Receives and completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection and scheduling vendors.
• Maintains inventory, tracks materials, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Documents all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and timely.
• Assists in maintaining grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
