Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain common areas across the property.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, handling make-ready tasks, managing materials, documenting work, and assisting with safety compliance and inspections.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications are required.
• State and Local certifications are required.
• A valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Manages materials and inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to ensure service requests are properly recorded and tracked.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools and materials efficiently.

Education
