Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

The role involves diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and performing make-ready tasks for vacant homes while managing inventory, prioritizing safety, and supporting cost-control initiatives. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Assist in grounds/amenities upkeep and follow cost-control practices by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
