Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to ensure building interiors, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete comprehensive make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-site across a Garden/Lease Up property. The position offers competitive benefits, a rotating on-call schedule, and opportunities for growth within Greystar’s

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local certification requirements apply to all Service Technicians.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet safety and quality standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch list, and scheduling vendors.
• Access and manage materials, supplies, and tools; track usage and reorder as needed.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, perform cleaning, painting, and debris removal as assigned.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications

Valid driver’s license

State/local certifications as required
