Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and maintaining cleanliness and functionality across the property.

Responsibilities include managing make-ready processes, tracking inventory, and documenting tasks. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to work outdoors

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance and repair abilities in building systems.
• Ability to diagnose and fix issues while following safety standards.
• Experience reading schematics or blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Handle make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and manage punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Document service requests accurately for records and tracking.
• Assist in grounds keeping and general property upkeep as required.
• Support cost-saving measures by using parts wisely.
