Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds and amenities meet safety and appearance standards. You will diagnose defects, repair items, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units to support leasing operations.

The role requires EPA certifications for refrigerants, a valid driver's license, and OSHA safety training; flexibility for varied shifts and weather conditions is expected in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate on-site vehicles.
• OSHA and safety trainings must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance per policies.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Tracks inventory, accesses materials and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, cleans, paints curbs and signage as required.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
