Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, completing work orders, and making-ready preparations for new move-ins. It requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license. On-site schedule includes evenings and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/2 or Universal) required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies, safety standards and codes.
• Make-ready vacant units: pre-move-in inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, supplies, and task completion.
• Track materials, equipment, and inventory; notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for tracking.
