Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for the interior and exterior common areas of our properties. You will perform custodial duties, grounds maintenance, and assist in preparing units for new residents.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety standards. Onsite work with a flexible schedule including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
• General knowledge in trades including construction/installation, repair and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal).
• Complete grounds work such as cleaning dumpster areas, blowing sidewalks, debris removal, and power washing as directed.
• Clean breezeways, remove cobwebs, maintain floors, wipe doors and handrails, and power wash where needed.
• Assist in basic landscaping: trimming, pruning, watering, irrigation monitoring, debris removal.
• Prepare make-ready units, remove trash from vacant apartments before occupancy.
