Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle a variety of apartment and property maintenance tasks with an emphasis on safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction. You will work under the maintenance supervisor to complete repairs and preventive tasks at the assigned property.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year in property maintenance or related field, and strong carpentry and general maintenance skills.

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and cope with and defuse difficult situations.

Responsabilidades

• Address a range of apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC and grounds.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, and safety checks.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Respond to property emergencies (snow, fires, floods) as assigned.
• Ensure safety and risk management policies are followed.
