Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle apartment and property maintenance tasks on-site, ensuring high standards of curb appeal and resident satisfaction. You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds areas while maintaining safety and quality in daily operations.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, timely work orders, and a professional, customer-focused demeanor to support residents and property management teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window repair, door repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance such as painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Assist with property emergencies and respond to incidents per procedures.
• Promote safety and risk management per local, state, and company rules.
