Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment properties and uphold high customer service standards. Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, while maintaining safety and cleanliness on-site.

You will address emergencies, manage work orders, and collaborate with property leadership to ensure resident satisfaction and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related maintenance.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed.
• Carry out wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/door repairs, and tile work.
• Execute preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, elevator and more.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and facilities to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership; follow safety and risk policies.
