Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property conditions across our New Jersey communities. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities while addressing resident requests and routine maintenance needs.

The role requires performing make-ready tasks for vacant units, managing supplies, documenting work, and supporting safety programs. EPA refrigerant certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• This role requires EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II or Universal).
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make-ready tasks is preferred.
• Must follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policy.
• Performs make-ready to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies for reordering.
• Documents work in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assists cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
