Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties with a focus on customer service and curb appeal. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and grounds tasks across assigned properties.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in property management or related field, and strong maintenance and carpentry skills. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor or property manager.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Carry out general carpentry like wall repairs, cabinetry, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, tile repairs.
• Maintain and complete work orders promptly to meet company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety, cleanliness, and issues needing repair.
• Assist with emergencies such as snow removal, fires, and floods.
• Maintain safety, risk management, and compliance with company rules.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year of maintenance/property management experience
