Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a maintenance technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties, ensuring exceptional customer service and curb appeal across the community.

The role covers repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and proactive preventative maintenance, with on-call after hours and on-site safety responsibilities. A valid license, English proficiency and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related fields.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervision and ensure high standards of service and curb appeal.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance per state guidelines.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool and other facilities.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings and amenities for safety, cleanliness and maintenance needs.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance as required.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership and follow safety policies.
• Promote safety and risk management in line with regulations.
