Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings, grounds, amenities meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready prep for vacant units, manage materials, document work orders, and support upkeep of common areas while adhering to safety policies and regulations. Flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs on assigned work orders per policy and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready prep for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Manage materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities by cleaning, painting, and pressure-washing as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
