Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the Company's standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

The role requires diagnosing defects, completing the make-ready process for vacant homes, managing materials and invoices, documenting service requests, and assisting with grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recovery certifications required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose source of defects from resident work orders and perform repairs per policy and code.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendor coordination, and inspections.
• Track inventory and manage materials; return unused items and notify when re‑ordering is needed.
• Document and file service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local certifications

Valid driver’s license
