Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities.

You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and coordinate make-ready tasks for new move-ins, while adhering to safety policies and company procedures. Benefits include medical coverage, paid time off, and on-site housing discounts.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type 1/2 or Universal).
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access materials from the maintenance department, track inventory, and reorder as needed.
• Document service requests promptly and accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning, painting, and curb/signage work as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
