Job summary

RPM Living is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and keep the property's common areas clean both inside and outside. The role requires hands-on work across custodial tasks, grounds maintenance, and make-ready preparation.

You will operate power washers, floor scrubbers, and other equipment, assist in pool care, and respond to emergencies. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• Knowledge of multiple skilled trades including carpentry and drywall.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal).
• Complete grounds work (trash pickup, power washing, debris removal, sidewalk cleaning).
• Clean breezeways, wipe doors/handrails, and maintain interiors and exteriors.
• Assist in make-ready units and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy.
• Operate maintenance equipment (power washer, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaner) safely.
• Support pool maintenance and basic chemical adjustments.
• Respond to emergency after-hours calls and complete work orders within 24–48 hours.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental policies.
