Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and keep interior and exterior common areas clean at an apartment community. The role requires basic carpentry, drywall repair, and make-ready work to prepare units.

Responsibilities include custodial duties, grounds care, and coordinating with the Maintenance/Community Manager. Must be able to operate power washers, floor scrubbers, and other maintenance equipment; flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED – Preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field, preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties and maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal).
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance/Community Manager (trash pickup, power washing, etc.).
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and wipe down doors and handrails; power wash as needed.
