UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance staff member to perform groundskeeping, home repairs, and routine maintenance across our community properties. The role requires operating power tools and heavy equipment, following safety protocols, and documenting all work performed.

This is a full-time, on-site position with overtime as needed. The successful candidate will have experience in home repairs, plumbing and grounds maintenance, and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Broad experience in home repairs, general plumbing, grounds maintenance and operation of heavy equipment.
• Snow plow experience.
• Ability to prioritize safety in all job duties and attend periodic safety trainings.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently to complete duties.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive UMH vehicles through the community to inspect common areas.
• Record violations observed during daily inspections.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Maintain community grounds (mowing, weed eating, debris removal, snow plowing).
• Keep work areas clean and safe and ensure unobstructed aisles and exits.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained and serviced.
• Take daily readings from water plant and inspect pump stations in applicable communities.
• Keep a log of all work performed.
• Complete periodic safety trainings and follow Hazard Communication Program.
