Job summary

UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Maintenance role for the Parke Place Community. The position focuses on overall groundskeeping, maintenance, and repairs of community homes and lots, while upholding UMH standards for professionalism, quality and safety.

The Maintenance staff will drive company vehicles, inspect common areas, perform repairs, and assist with installations when required. A valid driver’s license and experience in home repairs and heavy equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Broad range of experience in home repairs, general plumbing, grounds maintenance and operation of heavy equipment.
• Snow plow experience required.
• Ability to prioritize safety and attend periodic safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Drive UMH vehicles through the community to inspect common areas.
• Record violations observed during daily inspections.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Maintain community grounds including mowing, weed eating, snow removal and debris cleanup.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and free of obstructions; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Take daily readings where required and keep logs of all work.
• Assist with new home installations as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
